Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts sliced into thin cutlets
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour for dredging

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Dredge in flour and shake off excess.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan.
  • Stir in heavy cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh lemon juice and high-quality Parmesan cheese.
